The Market Drayton Schools Calendar Project aims to create a unique and engaging calendar every year to showcase the creativity of students in Market Drayton Schools. Join us in supporting the local schools and promoting art education in the community.
The printing of the Calendars is generously sponsored annually by local trades people and businesses, with all proceeds from Calendar sales paying the fees for local professional artist, Malcom Hague and art materials for workshops in schools .
Our sponsors also support our exhibition events that bring the community together to celebrate and endorse the Calendar Project's initiatives.
School Calendar
The calendar represents the culmination and result of art workshops carried out with a professional artist in every class in 13 local schools every year.
Every year we organise a public exhibition to showcase up to 13 shortisted paintings aged 4 -11 year olds from each local primary school and 16 yr olds from the secondary school.
This gives members of the community of all ages an opportunity to view and appreciate the quality of the children's artwork and celebrate their achievements.

“We are proud to have supported Market Drayton Community Enterprise with the Market Drayton School’s Calendar Project as it is vital that children are encouraged to be creative and express themselves through art. We were delighted to see the incredible work of the children throughout Market Drayton and beyond being showcased. We hope this inspires the next generation of artists and commend the Market Drayton Community Enterprise for its fantastic work.”
